THE MACUNGIE BAND
The Macungie Band proudly carries on the great American tradition of the Community Concert Band.
Our Mission is to provide performance opportunities for Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania area musicians and to perform high quality musical programs for our audiences of all ages.
Our band is one of the oldest in the country with a history dating back to 1855. Read more about our History.
We perform concerts free to the public throughout the summer season at various venues. We also perform several special ticketed events at other times of the year. Please check our Schedule for the latest.
Please Note: Non-members are now welcome to attend rehearsal! We ask that you contact our Director beforehand (see Contact Us page), to ensure we can accommodate you. Thanks for your understanding during this transition period.
NOTE: The West Park Concert (Sat Jul 17th) WILL be moved indoors in the case of inclement weather to the LV Active Life Center 1633 Elm St. Allentown.
